Celebrating Creativity, Community, and Childhood
On June 14, 2026, WAADA welcomed 24 children, ages 18 months to 5 years, together with 23 parents and 4 volunteers for Kids Arts Day – Ode to Spring in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Inspired by the beauty of spring, children explored hands-on art experiences including Rainbow Rice sensory play, Giant Flower creations, Free Painting, Colored Water exploration, Spray Bottle Painting, and creative craft stations.
The day celebrated more than the artworks themselves. Families shared moments of curiosity, confidence, imagination, and joy, reflecting WAADA’s belief in the power of art to strengthen families and bring communities together.
